Provide an example of Levi Strauss' Binary Opposition in a film of your choice. You need to explain what BO is (not what you're thinking) and how they exist in the film you select.

    A binary opposite is the understanding of difference between character types; a person would not understand good without experiencing evil. I have chosen to look at THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. There are many mystical binary opposites within the movie including;
    - Good vs. Evil
    - The fellowship vs. the orcs
    - Dwarves vs. Elves
    - wisdom vs. naivety
    - purity vs. corruption
    - light vs. dark
